11 Meetup Groups match “Novel Reading” near Derby, United Kingdom
Leeds needs a book group! Having just moved to the area I can see there is a dirth of groups for book and literature lovers. This must change! I don't read anywhere near enough but a group like this one will get me in the habit once more. I can't find a group like it, so I'm creating one myself. Once-a-month meets, discussions on the wonderful world of literature, and the setting of a book to read after each meet. Come on, come all, and we could make this an awesome group.
Meetup details are available only to members.
Unlike most others, our book club offers an opportunity to discuss a recent read while enjoying food and wine. Of course you don't have to have lunch; you don't have to drink wine; in fact you don't even have to read the chosen book - it's just a starting point for stimulating conversation. So feel free to join us on the first Sunday of the month for laughter and tears, lively discussion and lots of new friends. N.B. The £5 requested when you RSVP is taken off the restaurant bill at the meeting. …

This book group will meet once per month, during the evening of the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:30pm. The location will move around each month but will usually aim to be in a gastro-pub so that you have the choice of dinner and a variety of beverages. We will discuss a book that has been turned into a film. I am new to all of this - but don't let that put you off...I live in the Amersham area and was struggling to find any groups that met regularly that were in my immediate local area - so here I am creating my own! Not having been in the area too long, I am just looking for the opportunity to meet some new people and take 'any excuse' to get out socialising in some of the areas mentioned. The meetups will be relaxed and informal, but a good chance to get a variety of people together. If I get much …
