I started this group in January 2011 because I was looking for ways to stay motivated with my writing projects despite a relatively time-consuming job. One thing that has been proven to help is to be a part of a regular writing group, as it helps motivate people (like me) who need structure and community to "check in" and stay connected to the writing process. So I formed this low-pressure, weekly writing club that will help us all cope with everyday motivation, maintain a commitment to our pas …

Therefore, with the hopes of filling the gender gap, I am creating the "Libation and Literature" book group. The group will cater towards achieving the fine balance of socialization and substantive discussion. The group will …

Our book selections are determined by the group of participants, and primarily focuses on literary fiction. Discussions are lively and intriguing, with plenty of varying opinions.
Books are chosen in rotation, based on members' answers in the initial questionnaire.
